BABA Compliant Contract Manufacturing  

The Build America, Buy America Act referred to as BABA is a part of the 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. It requires that iron, steel, construction materials, and manufactured products used in federally funded infrastructure projects be produced in the United States. This initiative aims to strengthen domestic supply chains and bolster American manufacturing.  

Outside of major infrastructure categories like roads, bridges, waterways and ports are technology-based categories like broadband, power and grid reliability as well as electric vehicle charging. Within these technology-based categories key materials such as fiber optic cables, cabinets, enclosures, PCBAs, electronics and connectors must meet “Made in the USA” standards.
