The Manufacturing System Behind Consistent Quality

Safety-First Execution

    • Safety is built into training programs, implemented safety precautions, and smart equipment. This includes continuous learning, proper employee certifications and retrofitting machinery to have smart features enabled.

Operational Quality

    • Quality and engineering support starts upfront, with collaboration that ensures requirements are clear and achievable. We apply in-depth DFM reviews to reduce cost and streamline manufacturing to support consistent production and repeatable results.
    • Our proprietary Operator Information System (OIS) delivers interactive electronic work instructions so parts are built the same way every time while enabling rapid updates and tracking of quality and productivity by job.
    • Constant process improvement and manufacturing efficiencies are vital to continuous cost reductions and increased quality. This includes the most efficient and high-tech machinery with built-in automation features like our automatic tool changing brake presses as well as automatic sheet-fed laser cutting systems.

Cellular Manufacturing & Single-Piece Flow

    • Cellular manufacturing puts all the processes required to manufacture the part into one area, eliminating any of the waiting time and transportation between processes, changing the amount of time to produce a large assembly from days to minutes.
    • Sheet stock to finished assembled systems in hours rather than days. Some programs have complete electromechanical systems ready to ship in less than 24 hours.
    • Single-piece flow doesn’t allow inventory to stack between processes, and any issue is identified by the next step in the cell process while it’s still small and fixable.
    • Enhanced by a culture that lives, practices and celebrates lean.
